Hey, it’s Wes and Chanda, and welcome to Dink Life! We’re here in downtown Cuyahoga Falls, popularized by the movie Tommy Boy. Today, we’re at something called the Tiki Flea at Tiki Underground, a fantastic tiki bar that used to be in Hudson and recently moved here a couple of years ago. We actually visited this place once during a Christmas pop-up, and it was an absolute delight. We had so much fun! Now, they’re set up in the flea market, so come along with us and check it out!
So, here at the Tiki Flea, as soon as you walk in the gates, you’re greeted with a fantastic bar setup where you can see they have four delicious cocktails on offer. These drinks are all heavy on the rum, so if you’re not a fan of rum, it might not be your thing. However, they also have some beers from two local breweries in the area, Hi-Ho and Missing Mountain. And of course, they’ve got some mouthwatering food and lively music, so it’s bound to be a great day!
One of the coolest things about this Tiki Flea is its location right by the river. There’s a lookout point where you can see kayakers and other water activities. They’ve even built a bridge so that you can hang out and watch kayak competitions and other exciting events.
Now, let’s take a look at some of the amazing things we found at the Tiki Flea. We stumbled upon this fantastic find—a unique alcohol burner that burns isopropyl alcohol. You can actually burn it indoors because it doesn’t produce much smoke, and the flame height depends on how full it is. It’s such a cool piece! We would light it up right now, but you can’t really see it on camera. Trust us, it’s awesome!
And speaking of awesome, check out fantastic tiki mugs and glasses. They’re so popular and make for great collectibles. We couldn’t resist getting a few ourselves. Oh, and look at this, Wes, it’s a miniature Trader Sam’s! If you’ve ever been to Trader Sam’s, you know how incredible it is. This little piece brings back some great memories.
While we’re exploring, we came across some eye-catching poolside decorations that would make our pool area look amazing. We’re definitely considering getting some of these.
Alright, guys, now we’re outside near the patio of the Tiki Underground. It just opened yesterday, so they’re still working out the kinks, but it looks pretty cool back here. They have fire pits, a bar, and some delicious-looking food. And look, there’s even a band playing on the patio right now. How awesome is that?
We had an absolute blast at the Tiki Flea today. We got some really cool swag, more than we probably should have, but hey, it was totally worth it. We also went into the Tiki Underground, had a drink, and enjoyed some snacks. It’s an incredible bar, one of the best we’ve been to, aside from the one at Disney World and the one called Chopper in Nashville. So, if you’re ever in the area, be sure to stop by and support this fantastic establishment. We absolutely love it here, and today was just a really fun day.
