A Weekend of Fun and Music at the Riverfront Irish Festival

We attended the 2023 Riverfront Irish Festival in downtown Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. It took place on June 9, 10, and 11 at Falls River Square and featured two stages of music, Irish Mass on Sunday, and Traditional Irish dance. The Irish Market Place was also present, offering traditional Irish and American food and merchandise. Admission was free, and parking was free, making it a family-friendly event for everyone to enjoy.

We found the festival to be full of food booths selling Irish merchandise, bands, and beer. Visitors could enjoy a variety of food and drinks from different vendors. The Kona Ice Truck was also present, offering refreshing treats to visitors on a sunny summer day. The festival also had a marketplace where visitors could purchase Irish and American merchandise. The festival’s two stages of music provided entertainment for visitors throughout the weekend.

Cuyahoga Falls’ downtown area has been undergoing significant changes, with Front Street being turned into an actual street with shops and boutiques. We took a break from the festival activities and explored the new shops and boutiques. Chanda found some cute little overalls in one of the stores and bought a couple of other things at another boutique. The new shops and boutiques make Cuyahoga Falls’ downtown area a cute little place to have fairs and festivals.

Overall, I had a great time at the 2023 Riverfront Irish Festival. The festival’s free admission and parking made it a family-friendly event that attracted visitors from all over the area. Cuyahoga Falls’ downtown area is growing, with new shops and boutiques adding to the area’s charm. Visitors can enjoy a variety of festivals and fairs throughout the summer, making it a great place to visit and explore. As I always say, “Whatever you decide to do, just get out there and do it.”
