Our day at the Ohio State Fair 2023

Hey there, it’s Wes and Chanda, and we’re thrilled to welcome you to DinkLife! Today, we’re at the Ohio State Fair, ready for an action-packed day full of excitement and fun. But before we dive into all the adventures, let’s talk about the ticket options. You can either buy your tickets online ahead of time, which is a steal at only $8 per person or $12 at the gate. If you’re a thrill-seeker and planning to ride amusement rides, the advance wristband costs $32, while it’s $35 at the fair. Alternatively, you can use tickets that cost $1 each to pay for individual rides. Most rides require 4 to 6 tickets, so if you intend to experience more than 5 rides, the wristband is the better option.

Alright, let’s get to the rides! Our first adventure was the Haunted Fun House, a short but adorable experience that was well worth the five credits. Next up, we hopped on the Wild Mouse, and boy, were we in for a surprise! Its unexpected twists and spins made it an absolute must-try. As we explored the fairgrounds, we stumbled upon a variety of shops, demos, and exciting attractions. Our taste buds were treated to some unique deviled egg flavors, like cotton candy and bacon. Trust us; you’ve got to give them a try! And speaking of treats, the roasted corn was a heavenly delight, especially in the hot parmesan flavor.

Throughout the day, we enjoyed hopping on various rides, playing games, and soaking in the lively atmosphere. The Butterfly House was a true highlight, offering a serene experience with these delicate creatures up close. Although not included in the wristband, the Skyglider was a must-do, offering breathtaking views of the fairgrounds for just an extra $3.

As the day winds down, we’re filled with gratitude for the incredible time we’ve had at the Ohio State Fair. The wristband was a fantastic choice, granting us the freedom to explore all the rides and attractions without worrying about individual tickets.

And remember, folks, whatever you decide to do, just get out there and do it!
