How do Cedar Point Halloweekends Mazes Compare to Kings Islands Haunt Mazes?

Hey there, fellow thrill-seekers! Today, I’m excited to take you along on our adventure at Cedar Point. It’s a Thursday night, and although the weather wasn’t initially on our side with some rain, the night is starting to shape up. We wasted no time and hopped on a couple of coasters – Steel Vengeance and Maverick. The best part? Minimal wait times, with Maverick being as low as 15-20 minutes.

Next up were the haunted houses, which were pretty impressive. We decided to splurge on the Fright Lane pass for $50, and it was totally worth it. Due to the weather, Cornstalker 2.0 was closed, but we were allowed to return on another night to use our pass just for that one attraction. Rollercoasters, on the other hand, kept running even in light rain, and the crowd levels were low due to the earlier showers.

We dove into various mazes, with “Feargrounds Freak Show” taking the top spot for its creepy circus and freak show elements. “Blood Bath” by Steel Vengeance offered some good jump scares, and “The Haunting of Eerie Estates” had incredible theming. We also checked out the new “Mr. Midnight” maze, which had a surreal vibe. Unfortunately, “Slaughter House” didn’t quite meet our expectations.

Although outdoor attractions like Cornstalker were closed due to rain, we made the most of our time with rides and haunted houses. The Fright Lane pass was a great investment, considering the low wait times and the number of houses it covered. We did notice that Kings Island might have an edge when it comes to haunted houses, but Cedar Point’s scare zones are still fantastic.

Overall, Cedar Point on a Thursday night is a fantastic experience. If you’re thinking about getting the Fright Lane pass, go for it – it’s a great deal. The atmosphere was a bit quieter, but that only made the whole adventure even better.
