Chanda’s First Visit To Castle Noel

Hey, it’s Wes and Chanda! We ventured into the heart of Historic Downtown Medina and discovered the enchanting world of Castle Noel, touted as “America’s Largest Year Round Indoor Christmas Entertainment Attraction.” Our journey began with a sense of anticipation, having heard about its fame on “Entertainment Tonight” and other channels. As we stepped inside, we were immersed in the holiday spirit, surrounded by iconic Hollywood Christmas movie props and costumes. From “Elf” to “The Santa Clause” series, the collection showcased the magic of these beloved films, allowing us to relive the joy they brought us over the years.

One of the highlights was the stunning display of animated New York City Christmas windows from famous stores like Sak’s Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdale’s. The attention to detail and the meticulous recreation of these festive scenes added a touch of glamour and nostalgia to the experience. The “I Had That” toyland exhibit was a trip down memory lane, featuring thousands of toys from the 50s to the 90s. It was a delightful reminder of the toys we grew up with, and the exhibit resonated with a universal sentiment of “I Had That!”

The pièce de résistance was the Christmas Story slide, a whimsical ride that echoed the classic movie’s charm. As we descended down the slide, it wasn’t just a physical journey but a nostalgic ride through the memories of watching “Christmas Story” in theaters as a child. Castle Noel isn’t merely an attraction; it’s a portal to the enchanting world of Christmas movies and the cherished memories they create. Our visit was a magical experience, and we’re already planning our return. If you’re a Christmas enthusiast or simply seeking a dose of holiday magic, Castle Noel is a must-visit destination.
