Hey there, it’s Wes and Chanda, and welcome back to DinkLife! We found ourselves back at Kings Island for the third time this year, and this time, it’s all about Winter Fest. We experienced it last year, but the weather didn’t cooperate, so we’re crossing our fingers for clear skies tonight. The WinterFest admission is around $29.99, but with our Prestige passes, we’re covered. There’s an ice skating rink, and we’re eager to check out the festive lights, parade, and Christmas treats. We wandered through the park, stumbling upon a Christmas-themed pop-up bar and grabbing some festive drinks. The entire park is decked out for the season – even the roller coaster posters got a holiday makeover. From the themed bars to the Christmas market booths, Kings Island has spared no effort in transforming the entire park. We rode Mystic Timbers, which was lit up with Christmas lights, and it was a magical experience. This year’s WinterFest has exceeded our expectations, rivaling other Christmas events we’ve attended. The attention to detail and the overall festive atmosphere make it a must-visit.
Despite some rain interfering with our plans for the parade, we had an incredible time. The decorations, the themed areas, and the friendly staff created a winter wonderland. Kings Island’s WinterFest is a gem, and we highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the Cincinnati area during the holiday season.
