Hey, it’s Wes and Chanda, and welcome to DinkLife! Currently in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, we’re exploring the captivating Anakeesta. This unique attraction starts at the bottom of Gatlinburg, providing the option to ride a chairlift or take trucks called Ramblers to reach the top. If heights or chairlifts aren’t your preference, the entry fee is $36.99. During the holidays, there’s an additional attraction called Astra Lumina, a holiday light walkthrough costing $15.99 on top of the entry fee, with timed tickets for specific slots.
Taking the chairlift up, we enjoyed the misty mountain experience and discovered a variety of activities at the top, including a restaurant, a beer spot, and various stores offering unique finds. Anakeesta’s highlight for us was Astra Lumina, a breathtaking journey through a celestial pathway of lights, projections, and sounds. Despite a slightly terrifying chairlift ride, the Lumina experience was worth every penny. Anakeesta is a must-visit in Gatlinburg, offering a high-quality and enchanting experience.
For those intrigued by Astra Lumina, it’s a stellar addition to your Anakeesta visit. The fallen stars descend, releasing astral energy that transforms the forest into a celestial pathway. This Lumina experience, the first of its kind in the United States, promises an immersive journey into the world of lights, projections, and cosmic visions. Tickets, including a special combo with full-day Anakeesta admission at a discounted rate, are available online. Annual Pass members receive a 20% discount on Astra Lumina tickets. The experience tells a captivating story of stars regenerating and reuniting in the night sky, creating a stunning display. If you’re a fan of enchanting light shows and celestial experiences, Astra Lumina at Anakeesta is a must-see.
