Hey, it’s Wes and Chanda, and welcome to DinkLife! Currently in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, we’re strolling through the vibrant downtown area. Gatlinburg is essentially a single street packed with shops, restaurants, and plenty of touristy attractions, spanning about a mile. What we love most about this place are the cideries, wineries, and moonshine spots where you can sample a variety of drinks for $5 to $7. Just be sure to bring your ID, as everyone, regardless of age appearance, needs to show one.
Today, we indulged in some wine and cider sampling, and of course, couldn’t resist making a few purchases. The downtown is beautifully decorated for Christmas, and despite the bustling crowd—two days after Thanksgiving—it’s a festive atmosphere. On the other side of the street, there’s a sky bridge, named Skybridge, where you can ride ski lifts up the mountain, reminiscent of our Anakeesta adventure. Although not for the faint-hearted, it offers a unique perspective of Gatlinburg. It’s a lively place with lots to explore, and we’re sharing this walkthrough to give you a glimpse of Gatlinburg during the holiday season.
Thanks for joining us on this Gatlinburg adventure! We had a fantastic time, even with a slight detour over the mountain, providing us with a unique perspective of the area. Gatlinburg’s downtown is a mix of bustling streets, delicious drink samplings, and festive decorations.
