To experience the enchanting Trader Sam’s, a renowned tiki bar nestled within the resort. To secure a spot, we arrived early, well aware that the small size of the bar means early birds get the best virtual line spots. Lucky for us, we snagged the second spot, guaranteeing a relatively swift entrance.
With some time to spare before Trader Sam’s opened its doors, we explored the Polynesian Resort. Even if you’re not staying there, we highly recommend a visit. The lobby boasts a cool gift shop, and for lunch, we scored a walk-in at the Kona Cafe, indulging in delicious Asian-inspired cuisine. Afterward, it was finally time for Trader Sam’s, a unique tiki bar with a vibrant atmosphere. The drinks, ranging from $15 to $37, are not just beverages; they’re performances. From chants to skits, the waitstaff adds an extra layer of fun to the already lively ambiance. The unique mugs are available for purchase, making it a memorable addition to your Disney collection.
