Hey, it’s Wes and Chanda, and welcome to a special Christmas Day edition of DinkLife! We find ourselves in the charming city of Strasbourg, France. Despite initially thinking everything would be closed, we’ve discovered that quite a few restaurants and touristy stores are open for the holiday. Right behind us stands the Notre-Dame Cathedral, not the famous one in Paris, but still a beautiful landmark. Today, the cathedral had three services, and we’re about to explore it in between the masses. Join us as we take you on a tour of this historic site and wander through the festive city streets.
As we venture inside the cathedral, we’re captivated by the intricate details and stunning stained glass windows. The cityscape is adorned with Tudor-style buildings, and we can’t help but appreciate their unique charm.
Wandering through the city, we encounter various Christmas-themed sights, from impressive street art to adorable chocolate treats shaped like bears and Santa Claus. As we soak in the festive vibes, we notice the markets being taken down, and artists continue their work even on Christmas Day. It’s a unique experience witnessing the city’s blend of holiday traditions and modern art. Join us on this Christmas adventure as we explore Strasbourg and share the joy of the season with you!
