Our First Visit to The Troll Hole Museum! – Alliance, Ohio

Hey, it’s Wes and Jay, and we’re excited to share our adventure at the Troll Hole Museum in Alliance, Ohio. Priced at $12, we’ve driven past this place countless times, curious about what it holds. With family involved in nearby plays, the museum’s quirky exterior intrigued us. The guided 45-minute tour takes you through about 14 themed rooms, each with its own unique charm. From a Guinness World Record collection to trolls inspired by DreamWorks movies, the museum offers a fascinating journey into troll lore.

We were pleasantly surprised by the diversity of exhibits, ranging from trolls in pop culture, sports, and even a Christmas-themed room, complete with a waterfall and cave. The owner, Sherry, has created much of the artwork displayed, adding a personal touch to the experience. Notable highlights include the extensive sports-themed trolls, rare two-headed trolls. The museum’s dedication to detail, along with unexpected surprises like the Scandinavian troll room, left us thoroughly entertained. So, if you’re ever in Alliance, Ohio, and have a penchant for the whimsical, the Troll Hole Museum is definitely worth a visit.
