The Feline Historical Museum in Alliance, Ohio

Hey there, it’s Wes and Jay, and today on DinkLife we’re exploring the quirky side of Alliance, Ohio. Our destination? The Cat Museum, also known as the Cat Fanciers Association. Now, full disclosure, I’ve passed by this place countless times, but I’ve never ventured inside. Today, we’re changing that with a mere $3 admission fee.

Stepping inside, we were met with an unexpected delight – a plethora of cat-themed artifacts ranging from adorable figurines to intricate wood carvings. We even stumbled upon a collection of “maneki-neko,” those iconic Japanese beckoning cats. It was like stumbling upon a treasure trove for feline enthusiasts like us.

After spending a good 30 minutes exploring, we left feeling pleasantly surprised. For just $3, the Cat Museum offered a fun and unique experience, especially for those who adore our feline friends. Just a heads up though, the museum is only open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10 AM to 4 PM, so plan accordingly.

In the end, whether you’re a hardcore cat enthusiast or just looking for a quirky way to spend an afternoon, the Cat Museum in Alliance, Ohio, is definitely worth a visit. As always, whatever you decide to do, just get out there and do it!
