Hey there, it’s Wes and Chanda, and welcome to our DinkLife adventure! Today, we’re in Columbus, Ohio, at COSI, the Center of Science and Industry. It’s been a while since we last visited, probably a good decade or so. But as we step through the doors, memories flood back from our childhood. COSI is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, and it’s incredible how it’s evolved over time.
Back in the day, COSI was a staple for us kids. Girl Scout overnights, exploring nooks and crannies, and getting lost in the wonders of science—it was a blast. The museum has shifted locations since then, but the nostalgia for the old building still lingers. However, stepping into the new space, we’re greeted with a sense of wonder and excitement.
As we wander through the exhibits, we’re amazed by the array of hands-on experiences. We even stumbled upon a Titanic exhibit (though, sadly, it was sold out for the day). But fear not, there’s always more to explore at COSI.
One of our favorite sections is the historical re-creations of old-time streets. It’s like stepping back in time, with each storefront offering a glimpse into a bygone era.
Overall, our COSI adventure was a whirlwind of discovery and nostalgia. Despite the bustling crowds, we had a blast exploring every corner of this science wonderland. So, whether you’re a kid or just a kid at heart, COSI is definitely worth a visit.
