Hey, it’s Wes and Chanda! Welcome to DinkLife. Chanda is excited to explore this park for her first time. Hersheypark generously provided us with free admission today, along with a list of attractions and dining recommendations. So, come along with us as we check out everything this park has to offer.
We started our adventure with Wildcat’s Revenge, an RMC coaster that replaced the old Wildcat. It was fantastic, probably one of our favorite RMC coasters. The operations were efficient, and Hersheypark offers free lockers for your belongings, which is a nice touch and rare for a RMC. The ride had incredible airtime and comfortable restraints. Next, we rode Laff Trakk, an indoor coaster with great theming and smooth tracks. Despite a 30-minute wait, it was well worth it.
Afterwards, we experienced Lightning Racer, though only one side was operational. It was a decent ride but would have been more exciting with both sides running. We also tried Reese’s Cupfusion, a fun shooting gallery with clear targeting. The line moved slowly, but the mix of screens and physical targets made it enjoyable. We then visited ZooAmerica, included with park admission, and saw various animals, including a cottonmouth, black-footed ferret, and alligator.
We wrapped up our day with rides like Coal Cracker, Sky Rush, Storm Runner, and Candymonium. Each ride was unique and thrilling, with Sky Rush standing out for its new restraints and intense airtime. Hersheypark’s operations were top-notch, keeping wait times reasonable. We had lunch outside the park at The Chocolatier, where the food was delicious and creatively infused with chocolate. Despite the rainy start, the day turned out beautiful, and we had an amazing time. Hersheypark is clean, well-maintained, and full of exciting rides and attractions. A big thanks to Hershey for the tickets, and we can’t wait to come back. Remember, whatever you decide to do, just get out there and do it!
