Hey, it’s Wes, and welcome to DinkLife! We’re up at Clifton Hill at Niagara Falls, and today we’re diving into the Clifton Hill Fun Pass. For $39.95 CAD (about $45 with tax), this pass grants access to six attractions and is valid for an entire year. You can spread out your fun over multiple days, which is exactly what we’re doing. We’re starting today with a couple of rides and finishing the rest tomorrow, so come along as we explore!
Our first stop is Carnival Chaos, a dark ride that doubles as a shooting gallery. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be one of the best shooting galleries I’ve ever experienced. The ride had an engaging story and impressive video game-style graphics. The only catch is that you don’t see your score until the end, adding an element of surprise. However, it’s got a dark theme, so be cautious if you’re thinking about bringing little ones.
Next up was the Niagara Skywheel, a must-do for the breathtaking views of the Falls and Clifton Hill. The line can get long in the evenings, so if you see it short, hop on! The ride lasts about 20 minutes, giving you plenty of time to soak in the scenery. After that, we checked out the Movieland Wax Museum, which was a mixed bag. Some figures were spot-on, while others… well, let’s just say they needed a bit more work. But overall, it’s a fun stop with plenty of photo ops.
We wrapped up with Ghost Blasters, a dark ride that’s nearly identical to a Cedar Fair attraction BooBlasters, and Zombie Attack, a 6D theater experience that was action-packed but a bit weaker compared to the other attractions. We skipped the mini-golf this time due to crowds, but it’s included in the pass as well. Overall, I’d say the Clifton Hill Fun Pass is worth the money. It keeps you entertained for a few hours, and most of the attractions are a blast. If you’re in the area, definitely check it out!
