Hey, it’s Wes and Chanda, and welcome to DinkLife! Today, we’re in Cincinnati, checking out the famous The Dent School House, a haunted attraction that’s nationally recognized. This is our first time visiting, and while we couldn’t film inside, we just finished the haunted house, and wow—it was incredible! The production value and set design were stunning, easily one of the best we’ve seen outside of Halloween Horror Nights (HHN). The whole experience lasted around 20-25 minutes, and they really packed it with cool special effects. One of my favorite parts was at the end when I got completely soaked by bubbles—Wes even took a picture of my legs covered in foam! It was a lot of fun.
After the haunted house, we wandered around the post-haunt Midway, where you can take videos. There’s so much to see! They’ve got escape rooms (which cost extra), all of them themed and well done. We learned that in two years, only one group has managed to escape from the hardest room! If you’re into escape rooms, it’s definitely worth trying. There’s also a Haunted House Museum with exhibits from various haunts, tons of photo ops, and spooky decorations everywhere. It’s like Halloween heaven, and the vibe was super creepy in the best way.
Overall, we loved the experience. We’ve been to a lot of haunted attractions, but outside of HHN, this is easily the best one we’ve visited. Tickets were $35 online, and it’s totally worth it. If you’re ever in the Cincinnati area or can make the drive, we highly recommend checking it out. The atmosphere, makeup, and scares are top-notch, making it one of Ohio’s best haunts.
