We finally made it to Shanghai our last Disney destination! Chanda and I were so thrilled to explore Disney Town, the bustling area just outside Shanghai Disneyland. We had our doubts about making it here, but this magical place was absolutely worth the wait.
From the moment we stepped in, we were immersed in the magic. The World of Disney store blew our minds with the most adorable and unique merchandise we’ve seen everything from Duffy raincoats to popcorn-themed Minnie ears! The prices were also shockingly low compared to other parks. We stocked up on gear, pins, plushies, and even pet accessories, all with the whimsical Disney flair.
We also dove into some seriously delicious food. Our dim sum meal cost just $13 and was among the best we’ve had flavorful, filling, and beautifully presented. Our bubble tea adventure was just as fun, and super affordable at about $3 each. We shared tips on using Alipay, the go-to app for purchases in the area, which made everything much smoother.
Overall, Disney Town was clean, safe, welcoming, and packed with charm. It was a fantastic start to our Shanghai Disney journey, and we can’t wait to show you more of the park tomorrow!
