We made it to Shanghai Disneyland—and wow, what a ride (literally and figuratively)! I’m Chanda, and together with Wes, we braved freezing temperatures, intense security, and massive crowds to experience one of the most extraordinary Disney parks in the world. Our day started chaotic—thinking we’d arrive early, only to find ourselves in long lines just to get into the park. Tip: download Google Translate and don’t bring a tripod—they’re strict!
With Premier Access in hand, we made the most of our visit. We hit Soarin’, Peter Pan’s Flight, the jaw-dropping Tron coaster, and the absolute highlight—Pirates of the Caribbean. I can’t even explain how incredible that ride is. It’s unlike anything we’ve ever experienced, blending advanced technology with mind-blowing visuals that left us speechless.
Zootopia was another standout with its immersive ride and incredible theming—even though we couldn’t understand the language, the story came through perfectly. We also caught Mickey’s Storybook Adventure, and despite the cold, it warmed our hearts with its emotional storytelling. It was an amazing day full of surprises, and we’re excited to return tomorrow. Disney magic is alive and well in Shanghai!
