Hey everyone, it’s Chanda and Wes! We wanted to take a moment to share some essential tips and surprises from our stay at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. First of all, if you’re on the fence about coming here—don’t be. This park is an absolute gem. We stayed at the Value Resort on property, and it honestly felt more luxurious than many of the moderate resorts we’ve stayed at in the U.S. The daily room cleaning, no tipping culture, and concierge service blew us away.
Transportation is also a dream here. After the chaos of park closing, we were still back at the hotel within 15 minutes. Plus, we loved all the thoughtful little extras—discount coupons, cute free gifts, and even permission to pool hop (something you definitely can’t do in Florida). And don’t worry about cash—aside from taxi rides, you won’t need any!
Yes, the crowds can be a little pushy at times—it’s a cultural thing—but the cast members here are some of the kindest we’ve ever encountered. We also appreciated how clean the entire property was and even found the water safe and tasty. If you’re a Disney fan, this place should be on your bucket list. It’s magical, efficient, and full of unexpected perks.
