Hey it’s Wes and Chanda and welcome to DinkLife. Today we took you along for an unforgettable day at Tokyo Disneyland. From the moment we passed through the new and super-efficient security scanners, we knew it would be a smoother experience than last time. Even with our bags and camera gear, we made it through quickly and appreciated the improvements.
We focused on rides we missed before, like Pirates of the Caribbean and Big Thunder Mountain, both of which delivered enhanced thrills and visuals. But the crown jewel of the day was the Beauty and the Beast ride. This Tokyo-exclusive experience had me openly weeping—it’s that good. The level of detail and emotional storytelling makes it the best dark ride I’ve ever been on.
The surprises didn’t end there. We got to ride the revamped “It’s a Small World,” now featuring adorable Marvel cameos, and the Monsters Inc. Ride & Go Seek, another Tokyo-exclusive that was both interactive and charming. Despite the crowds, the atmosphere was calm and respectful, a refreshing change from other busy parks.
We wrapped up the day with some shopping and snacks, and even ventured to Ikspiari for a relaxing dinner. Tokyo Disneyland continues to impress us with its efficiency, charm, and unmatched experiences. Remember, as always, whatever you decide to do, just get out there and do it!
