Hey it’s Wes and Chanda and welcome to DinkLife. We just wrapped up another incredible day at Tokyo DisneySea, and this time we came back to check out the newly opened Fantasy Springs. The wind was absolutely brutal—gusts up to 40 mph! It made just walking around a challenge and shut down many outdoor rides, but that didn’t stop us from exploring every corner of the new land.
We rode all four new attractions in Fantasy Springs, including Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival and Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey, both of which featured jaw-dropping animatronics and beautiful set design. The Peter Pan 3D ride was cute but not for the motion-sick prone. We also got a taste of Oaken’s cardamom-filled yoooo bread, which was definitely a unique flavor experience compared to U.S. parks.
Thanks to our vacation package, we had priority access and could come and go from Fantasy Springs freely. It really saved us, especially with wait times ballooning due to ride closures. Journey to the Center of the Earth was another highlight—just don’t expect to ride it without that fast access; the standby was over three hours!
Overall, despite the wind and crowds, we had a phenomenal time. Tokyo DisneySea continues to be the best Disney park in the world. Clean, well-managed, and full of friendly guests—it’s hard to beat. Remember, as always, whatever you decide to do, just get out there and do it!
