In this post, I’m unboxing and reviewing the Dbrand Kill Switch case for the Switch 2. I went with the Travel Kit, which came in at $79.85. It included everything but the screen protector. After learning how soft the Switch 2’s screen is, I definitely recommend adding that or just grabbing the full Ultra Package up front.
I walked through the full installation—from applying the Joy-Con stickers, attaching the kickstand protector, installing the screen protector, and more. The case comes with high-quality components and nice touches like the magnetic cartridge holder, ergonomic grip, and excellent build. It’s clearly a premium product designed with care.
There are some small drawbacks, mainly when docking the Switch while the case is on—it’s not as seamless as the stock setup. But aside from that, it’s sleek, protective, and travel-friendly. If you want something compact yet protective, I highly recommend the Dbrand Kill Switch.
