Don’t Miss This Epic Holiday Experience at Kew Gardens

Hey it’s Wes and Chanda and welcome to DinkLife! On this holiday adventure, we headed to Kew Gardens, just outside of London, to check out their legendary Christmas light display. After reading rave reviews and watching a few videos, I knew this was one experience we couldn’t miss — and it did not disappoint.

We took two easy metro lines and walked a short distance from the station to the entrance. Even before diving into the full trail, we were wowed by the first light installation. The whole event was bursting with creative displays, interactive zones, festive food, and even a full-on dance floor with a disco ball!

It took us almost two hours to walk the entire trail, and that’s with only a brief stop for mulled wine. From shimmering trees to fiber optic tunnels and even a mini carnival, every moment felt magical. The path was a bit crowded, even on a weekday, so definitely plan ahead and get your tickets online early.

The rain tried to sneak in, but with a waterproof jacket and good shoes, we were totally fine. We absolutely loved this holiday event and highly recommend it if you’re visiting London in December. Remember, as always, whatever you decide to do, just get out there and do it!
