Hey it’s Wes and Chanda and welcome to DinkLife! We’re back in London for another cozy adventure, and this time we’re hopping on a Christmas-themed afternoon tea bus tour. If you’ve been following us for a while, you’ll know we did the Halloween version of this tour last year, and we couldn’t wait to try it again for the holidays. Despite the chilly weather and grey skies, we found this experience to be one of the warmest and most delightful parts of our trip.
We boarded our festive bus at Victoria Coach Station, which was super easy to find once we figured out it wasn’t the same as the main Victoria Station. The ride was smooth, relaxing, and filled with all the holiday charm we hoped for—Christmas music, beautiful decorations, and delicious food. From cucumber sandwiches to butterscotch choux, and of course the warm scones with clotted cream, the food was top-notch.
One of the highlights was the traditional British Christmas crackers. We pulled them open to reveal trivia, silly jokes, and festive crowns, which made the whole bus laugh and feel like one big cheerful party. We also loved the custom souvenir cups they gave out—another thoughtful touch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to top up your tea or bring something new.
This experience cost us about £90 each, but honestly, it was worth every penny. If you’re looking for a fun and festive way to see London at Christmas, this is it. It’s relaxing, filling, and full of charm. We highly recommend Brigit’s Bakery’s tea bus tours if you’re in town during the holidays. Remember, as always, whatever you decide to do, just get out there and do it!
