Chicago River Tour: Discover the City’s Stunning Architecture by Boat!

Hey it’s Wes and Chanda and welcome to DinkLife. We’re still exploring Chicago this weekend and decided to use another part of our CityPASS for something a little different—an architectural river cruise with Shoreline Sightseeing. We hopped aboard for a 75-minute journey through the heart of the city, and wow, what a way to see Chicago.

The guide was lively, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. We cruised past iconic structures like the Trump Tower, Sears Tower, Marina City, and so many others while learning cool (and often hilarious) facts about each one. The views from the river gave us a new appreciation for the scale and beauty of Chicago’s architecture.

This tour wasn’t just a relaxing ride—it was a full-on history lesson, comedy show, and sightseeing event all in one. The best part? It’s included in the CityPASS, which made it way more affordable than booking individually. If you’re visiting Chicago and planning to hit multiple attractions, the CityPASS is a no-brainer.

Overall, this experience gave us some incredible memories and photos. If you have a few hours to spare in Chicago, we highly recommend jumping on this tour. Remember, as always, whatever you decide to do, just get out there and do it!
