We Spent 5 Hours at the Making of Harry Potter Studio Tour in London

Hey its Wes and Chanda and welcome to Dinklife

We were just outside of London visiting the Warner Bros Studio Tour and it completely blew us away all over again. We had actually visited nine years ago during Halloween, but this time we experienced it decorated for Christmas and it felt like a totally different adventure. Seeing the Great Hall dressed for a festive feast and the sets covered in snow made it feel even more magical than we remembered.

We took the train from London to Watford Junction and then hopped on the included shuttle bus straight to the studio. It was incredibly easy and affordable, and we definitely recommend booking your tickets well in advance especially during the holiday season because they sell out fast. Timed entry is enforced, and once you are inside you will want to give yourself plenty of time to explore.

Walking through the Great Hall, Diagon Alley, Platform 9 and 3 4, and seeing the actual Hogwarts Express up close was unforgettable. The massive Hogwarts castle model at the end of the tour was absolutely stunning. We also loved seeing the costumes, props, wigs, and learning about the special effects that brought the films to life.

About halfway through, we treated ourselves to a butterbeer flight with a cupcake and ice cream, and it was huge. We spent over four and a half hours exploring and easily could have stayed longer. Whether you are a massive fan or just casually enjoy the films, this experience was completely worth it. Remember, as always, whatever you decide to do, just get out there and do it!
