Hey, it’s Wes and Chanda, and we’re currently in the Netherlands, staying at an Airbnb just 5 minutes away from the Efteling theme park. Despite being here for only 36 hours, we wanted to share our charming Airbnb with you. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and provides a convenient stay for anyone planning to visit Efteling. As we walk you through, the first room is a small but cute private toilet, followed by a spacious bathroom with a large shower, sink, and a cozy wall heater.
Moving into the kitchen, it’s impressively large, equipped with a table for six, a sink, a double hot plate, a microwave, and even a wood-burning stove, though we didn’t attempt to use it. The kitchen overlooks a picturesque view of the quiet neighborhood. For families with children, there’s a delightful yard with a slide and a picnic table. From the kitchen, you enter the cozy living area, tastefully decorated for Christmas, complete with a real Christmas tree. The views from the windows are delightful, and the cleanliness and impeccable condition of the space stand out.
The bedrooms are situated upstairs, accessible through narrow stairs. The main bedroom features a spacious king bed, side tables, and a dresser. The bed is comfortable, and the room is well-sized. Another bedroom offers bunk beds and an additional single bed, making it ideal for families or groups. Despite the treacherous stairs, the overall stay has been pleasant. The hosts, who run this bed and breakfast professionally, offer breakfast for an additional fee of €15 per person per day, though we opted out due to personal preferences. Overall, it’s been a lovely stay, and the Airbnb is highly recommended for those exploring the Efteling area.
