Hey its Wes and Chanda and welcome to Dinklife
We had finally made it to Dublin, Ireland, after what felt like a ridiculously long travel day. We had left Ohio at 11:00 in the morning the day before, and by 3:00 p.m. in Dublin, we still had not slept, changed clothes, or done much of anything. We definitely were not looking our finest, but we were excited to show you around our room at the Croke Park Hotel. When we searched for hotels in Europe, we always tried to find rooms around 300 square feet because we liked having enough space to actually move around. We also needed attached parking, and this hotel fit what we were looking for.
When we first walked into the room, we immediately noticed how much storage space there was. We even found a trouser press, which was something we had never seen in any hotel room before. There were multiple closets, spaces for shoes, an ironing board, a safe, a fridge, a coffee area, and plenty of drawers. There were also mirrors everywhere, which made getting ready much easier. The amount of storage in this room was impressive, especially compared to some of the smaller hotel rooms we had experienced while traveling through Europe.
The bathroom was another huge surprise. Compared to many European hotel bathrooms we had seen, this one felt gigantic. It had a huge, deep bathtub that Chanda was already planning to live in, along with a completely separate shower. There was also plenty of counter space, which was another feature we did not always find in European hotels. The rest of the room was just as roomy, with two beds, a desk and work area, a TV, a small table and chair, plenty of light switches, and convenient outlets for charging our devices.
We also walked through the dark elevators and hallways to show you the lobby, front desk, and parking garage underneath the hotel. There was plenty of parking space, and we had also spotted a gym right off the lobby for anyone who actually felt like working out after traveling. Overall, the hotel room was extremely clean, roomy, and gave us everything we needed for our stay in Dublin. After the room tour, we were more than ready to get cleaned up, change our clothes, and head out to explore Dublin. Remember, as always, whatever you decide to do, just get out there and do it!
